Basset Hound Ornament – Goose or Georgie Edition

This ornament is extra special to my heart! It’s inspired by my real-life Basset Hounds, Goose and Georgie. You may know them from their viral dog door video where Goose taught baby Georgie how to go outside, or when they showed their cousins Anya the golden retriever and Rufio the husky how it’s done. Their adventures have made people all over the world smile, and I wanted to create something to celebrate that joy.

Originally, their channel CraftyMofos started as my crafting page for this very business, but after the pups went viral, they completely stole the show. This ornament is my tribute to blending both worlds—my love for crafting and my love for my hounds.

Each ornament is designed, handmade, sourced, and assembled right here in our workshop. They’re crafted from genuine vintage materials found at estate sales, like the satin-covered ornament balls—making them truly limited edition. Quantities are also limited: there are more “Georgie” (lighter color) ornaments than “Goose” (darker color) ornaments.

Even though these designs are inspired by my dogs, they can represent your Basset Hound too! You can even customize the bow—choose a bow tie or a hair bow to match your pup’s gender.
